Close Up & Private

Close Up & Private has become a style bible of sorts for me. Below are but a few samples of the amazing photos by Sergei Sviatchenko that make up his ongoing documentation (check often for updates) of men's fashion and style. You can read an interview with him at Components of Enthusiasm, where he explains the project thusly:

"Close Up & Private is an attempt at understanding men’s style and sharing the process behind it with others. As a part of on going project, I focus purely on the details in men’s clothing. I chose the name Close Up & Private because it represents my method of getting up close for photographs so the focus is only on the details of the clothes, and in a way it is making something public that is usually private."
