Turkish Delight

The 1982 film Dünyayı Kurtaran Adam (which translates to The Man Who Saves the World) is better known as Turkish Star Wars in this neck of the woods. You see, Turkey was going through a period of major political and economic instability, featuring a number of military coups, so North American movies weren't really making it into the country. The Turkish film industry's response to the demand for Star Wars was quite a brilliant one. They simply filmed scenes from the original (as in filmed the movie while it played on what looks like a TV), cut in their own amazing story line (sometimes overtop the original), invented an extreme form of space karate and used the soundtrack from Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Check out this article from The Wave for a comprehensive breakdown of the plot.
